How is best to contact you?

What are your opening times?
Our opening hours are:
Monday – Thursday 7.30 am – 5.00 pm
Friday – 7:30am – 12:30pm
Saturday and Sunday: Closed
Do you do more than just CNC routing?
Yes, much much more! We have over 80 machines in our factory with a skilled workforce who are capable of producing a wide range of wooden components.
Do you do CNC Routing for Business to Consumer (B2C)?
The majority of our work is Business to Business (B2B), supplying other manufacturers and businesses with wooden components. We do work B2C for select projects, however this is limited. Please contact us to find out whether we can assist you.
Our company requires point of sale display units, can you design from scratch as well as the CNC routing?
Yes! We have a wealth of experience in CNC routing tailored wooden display units for your exact products and within your requirements. We can use specific sheet materials, branding or colours to complete stands. What are your lead times?
Our lead times vary at time of order, the type of order and the size of the order placed. Lead times can be estimated at quotation and can be agreed when orders are placed. We organise our production schedule for CNC routing months in advance to give the most accurate lead times.
What type of files can you use?
We typically work with DXF, STEP & DWG files. See the full list of files we can view here.
How long till I receive my quotation back?
We try to respond within 3 working days to quotations, however during busy periods this can take longer. Please include a timeframe in your contact form or email if you are pushed for time! Feel free to call us at any point to discuss your quotation.
Do you have a factory shutdown?
Yes, we have a two-week summer shutdown for our hardworking staff to enjoy some well-deserved time off. We ensure customers are aware of the dates of this ahead of time and if this will affect lead times.
I am interested in placing an order but would like a sample first, is this something you can offer?
Yes, we recommend sampling products prior to manufacture. In this process we will (if required) design the product, program our CNC routers for manufacture, creating manufacturing jigs and test and run sample items. The item will then be setup for manufacture, ready for the first batch order. Please contact us to discuss your product and we can look at the best options going forward.
Do you give companies credit?
Yes, however this is customer specific. Generally with new customers we ask for payment in full prior to manufacture. Once a rapport is built up, we can look into credit options. We credit check companies and have a full credit application prior to credit being issued. Payment terms can then be agreed.
There are currently issues with timber supply and prices. Are you able to get timber?
Yes. Although timber prices have rocketed over the last two years, we are able to source nearly all wood materials typically used. Since the start of the Russian war, Birch plywood has become harder to source, however we are able to source this at elevated prices. We work hard to ensure our customers continue to get their products manufactured at the most competitive timber prices and Lydwood has a good relationship with a variety of timber merchants.
